The Nudist Colony
Have you ever been to a nudist colony? Well, I have.
It happened during the 13 years I was single before I met Bill. I was dating a guy who was a member of a nudist colony. There was a dance one weekend and he wanted to take me. He assured me that I would not have to take off my clothes. He said that many times members bring a guest and no one ever pressures them to take off their clothes.
That being said, I thought it would be an interesting experience. So I went. And it was interesting. Nearly everyone was nude. The band they hired for the dance could hardly keep their eyes off the dancers.
There was an elderly woman who had had a double mastectomy and was not bothered at all by the stares.
There was an overweight, dumpy looking girl who looked a little anxious and my thought was that she would look much more appealing with clothes on.
There was a lovely young woman who was perched on the edge of a table with one knee brought up to her chin and you could see all of her privates. Quite an exhibitionist!
Aside from the exhibitionist, this group of about 40 people were very relaxed and comfortable with each other. They were from all walks of life and felt that they didn’t want to be judged by their clothes or their cars, but by who they were. This was a natural way to live.
This colony was hidden away in the mountains only found after many twists and turns in the roads. I would never have found it on my own.
Yes, it was an interesting experience, but it was definitely not for me.
As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.
The greatest discovery is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of minds.
